The Customer
Covering approximately 36,700 square miles (twice the size of Denmark) Diamantina Shire lies within the region known as the Channel Country in far southwestern Queensland Australia.
As harsh as the country may seem, it is rated as having some of the best cattle fattening areas in Australia with some of the Channel Country now accredited with ” Organic Beef Certification”. Many of the 14 stations in the Shire have descendents of the early settlers working them, one being the Kidman Company founded by Sir Sydney Kidman, known as the Cattle King.
The Install
In his third attempt at travelling to complete this job, our senior technician Michael recently ventured from Townsville to Bedourie to install two Loadrite systems for the Diamantina Shire Council.
This job was postponed twice due to the unprecedented flooding of western Queensland, closely followed by Cyclone Trevor. The two machines, a CAT 972H and CAT 962H, were both installed with L2180 systems equipped with LP950D printers and can be easily upgraded to Legal for Trade in the future.
As part of this job, Michael also conducted onsite operator training for 15 council employees to introduce them to the capabilities of their new product. It is safe to say that we have another satisfied customer.
